Drop-in Hours in Arcata

We are excited to announced that we are now open at our new(ish) office in Arcata (5000 Valley West Blvd #17/18 Arcata, CA 95521).

Drop in hours:

Tuesdays: 11AM-2:30PM

Wednesdays: 11AM-2:30PM

Free services available during drop in hours include: clothing closet, snacks and drinks, resting areas, phone charging, linkages to Medication Assisted Treatment, wound care supplies, safer sex supplies, harm reduction education, overdose prevention training, Narcan, fentanyl test kits, and much more. Please note: This location DOES NOT offer any syringe services whatsoever.

Syringe Services Hours and Locations

Mobile Syringe Services in Eureka

  • Tuesday 10:00am to 2:00pm – Parked under Samoa Bridge near AHHA Mobile Showers
  • Thursday 10:00am to 2:00pm – Parked on “A” Street between 2nd ST and 3rd ST near Free Meal/ Mobile Medical

Outreach outside of Eureka – Appointment Needed/ Call ahead of time

Wednesdays 12:30 PM to 3 PM

Case Management

Linkage to Medication Assisted Treatment : Our organization is committed to providing linkage to low-barrier MAT services through the tele-health medicine in partnership with Bright Heart Health. Have questions about enrollment? Come visit us during our drop in hours.

ID Vouchers: Come get access to one of our ID vouchers, to replace your lost ID or driver’s license

System Navigation: Need assistance navigating the healthcare system in Humboldt County? Come talk to our case manager, Christina, who has extensive knowledge and experience with system navigation.

Overdose Prevention

Narcan and Naloxone : Drop in to any of our service hours or locations to get free Narcan/Naloxone accompanied by an in-person overdose prevention training for folks who need it. If you can’t make it to any of our drop-in hours, call or email us at admin@hachr707.org or 707-407-6013

Fentanyl Test Kits: Same as Narcan – can be picked up during drop in hours, or call/email to work out a drop off

Overdose prevention trainings: Email us at admin@hachr707.org to schedule an overdose prevention training for your community group or workplace.
