Volunteer

The Center is forever grateful for our volunteers. Volunteer activities can vary depending on the individuals strengths. All volunteers are required to read, understand and sign some basic policy and procedures of the organization and follow all Covid-19 safety protocols. Vaccination is highly encouraged for onsite volunteer work.

Internships

We have hosted numerous interns from Humboldt State University both remotely (to accommodate for Covid-19 safety protocols) and on-site. If you are a student of Social Work, Psychology, Criminology or other related fields, our organization is a great way to get hands-on experience and has a wide range of training materials available.

Community Partnerships

The Center believes strongly in the power of collaboration with other community leaders and advocates. If you have an organization or community events or projects that you would like to invite us to collaborate in, please reach out. We prioritize partnerships that focus on advocacy for people who use drugs, sex workers, and people experiencing homelessness.
